We require a highly professional and motivated person to provide a senior administrative and clerical service to the Community Mental Health Team based in Withington, Manchester. It will be an advantage if you have previous experience providing the level of support to a Community & Consultant Team. Experience of working in a busy team environment would also be an advantage, ability to supervise and lead your team, along with experience of a patient administrative database, for example, PARIS, etc.
The postholder will be required to work to deadlines as part of the post and must be able to relate to all disciplines of staff and the public in a professional manner. You will be required to handle confidential information and work in a confidential manner using tact and diplomacy at all times.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
