1 Full Time Posts- 10 PA’s + optional 1 SRP for a clinical leadership position

£79,860-£107,668 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in working with young people who have mental health difficulties, to work within a substantial and experienced multidisciplinary team to provide Tier 4 Specialist Inpatient Adolescent Mental Health Services to Greater Manchester. The role will also include the option of a clinical lead role within the CAMHS directorate for an appropriate candidate.

Each post is intended as full time post with appropriate SPA and SRP time for a strategic leadership role within the trust and transformational work. We would welcome applicants who wish to work flexibly with time shifted hours to create a 4 day week subject to agreement with their line management and cover arrangements. This is replacement leadership and clinical posts based at Prestwich within Junction 17, in addition to the existing 3 consultants who provide input into the Tier 4 Specialist Adolescent inpatient service at GMMH.

If you are looking for job flexibility we have significant experience in designing part-time and flexible posts. All job plans can be tailored to meet individual needs and in line with demands of the service, but also have a consistent design across the service and across specialties.

The overall split of the programmed activities for a 11 PA job with one SRP payment for leadership in CAMHS is: 7 PA DCC time for up to 8 beds and supporting new referrals; 3 SPAs for CPD including 0.5 supervision of trainees, appraisal, service development, Audit and teaching; and 1 pensionable SRP focusing on strategic leadership and workforce planning.
